Materials and techniques: Our artwork is a colorful burst of paint splatters, prints, ribbons, and bold text. We created our art by tracing designs onto Styrofoam. Then, we rolled paint onto the Styrofoam. The Styrofoam was pressed onto the paper as prints. As the prints were being made, my partners put splatters of paint onto the paper to kind of give it a tie-dye effect. The big idea behind our artwork is for it to be inspiring, and send a message to whoever looks at it.
