Created by South Carroll High School, Sykesville, MD
Artists: Morgan and Christopher
Teacher: Mrs. Payne
Materials and techniques: We used paint, stencils and a black marker to create this artwork. We paid attention to positive and negative space and the upside down scholar was placed to create an interesting negative space path.
Did you enjoy this project? I liked it because we got to be creative.
About: We picked this theme because education is a valuable step to becoming a powerful member of society. We chose the symbol of the scholar to represent the major path to becoming a scholar. We included the seal to make this composition specific to Harper’s Ferry.
