Hand painted & dyed fibers. Hand and machine sewing, variegated threads, beads. “A drop of dew brings moisture to a dry earth.” On the back side of my leaf it says, “A Gift of Life”. We live in the mountains near Yosemite National Park. Our home is on the Fresno River, when we first moved here there was water in the river all year round. But now it goes dry about the middle of June and we get water again in November. Water has to be diverted to the agricultural areas. The wild animals struggle to find enough for their needs. I am a member of two yahoo exchange groups, Postmarked art, and Fiber Art Traders. It was through the Fiber Art Traders that I heard about your leaf project.
